Management system of multi-source spatial data in open pit coal mine based on GIS

  • According to production and operation characteristics of open pit coal mine, seven kinds of multi-source heterogeneous spatial data consisting of vector data, remote sensing image data, CAD data, three-dimensional model data, trucks route data, marking location data and monitoring location data of mine area were selected. The mining spatial database was built, and management system of multi-source spatial data in open pit coal mine was designed and developed combing with GIS component development and visualization technology of spatial information to realize the visual-integrated management of mining spatial data. The practical application shows that the system has characteristics of convenient data storage and management and high data utilization rate, which can provide convenience and help for mine area management and production.
