Test and Analysis of Performance of Dynamic Var Compensator at Jiuquan Wind Power Base

The paper introduced work principle of MCR type SVC, TCR type SVC and SVG, and contrasted and analyzed test results of dynamic regulation range, dynamic response time and active power loss of the three kinds of dynamic var compensator gotten at Jiuquan Wind Power Base, and proposed a scheme to install different types of dynamic var compensator in one booster station to give full play to their advantages.
