  • The paper introduced a design of monitoring and control system of mechanized mining sets of coal face.In view of the problem of many kinds of PLC adopted by mechanized mining sets,it introduced construction of unified protocol model based on Modbus.In view of the working characteristics of movement of shearer,it introduced a scheme of data transmission of shearer which combining wire communication with wireless communication,namely it uses mine-used communication cable of shielded twisted pair as communication media between fixed mechanized sets,and sets up a wireless set on moving united equipments such as head of shearer and sets up a wireless set on tail of shearer too,then the wireless set of tail of shearer connects with field bus,which builds a wire and wireless communication link,so as to it can realize data exchange between PLC controller installed on moving head of shearer and communication master station of the monitoring and control system of mechanized mining sets.
