Design of Controller for Four-phase Stepping Motor Based on FPGA

  • The paper introduced a design scheme of controller for four-phase stepping motor controller based on FPGA and gave control principle, design of related modules and an application example of the controller. The controller uses fully digital control and Verilog HDL programming language and can realize control of reset, offline, rotational speed and positive and negative rotation of four-phase stepping motor. The simulation and application result showed that the controller has flexible control, wide range of speed regulation, high precision and stable and reliable running.
