A new type of mine-used GEPON system based on optical port expander

  • 摘要: 针对矿用GEPON系统在扩展时灵活性不高和光网络终端接入数量受限的问题,提出了一种基于光端口扩展器的新型矿用GEPON系统,介绍了光端口扩展器和子环用光纤分光器的原理、构成及应用。该系统可提高光功率,增加节点数量,延长传输距离,还可在任一节点派生一个子环。
    Abstract: In view of problems of low flexibility and limited access numbers of optical network terminal when mine-used GEPON system is expanded, a new type of mine-used GEPON system based on optical port expander was proposed. Principle, constitution and application of optical port expander and sub-ring optical fiber splitter were introduced. The system can improve optical power, increase node number, extend transmission distance, and derive sub-ring from any node.
