Study of new type of splitter applied in mine-used PON network protectio

  • 摘要: 针对现有矿山PON网络保护方式成本较高、可靠性较低的问题,设计了一种由3个分光器组成的新型分路器。该分路器较传统分路器增加了一只分光比为50∶50的分光器,利用其上下行光路插损一致的特点,实现了单PON口光网络单元对矿用PON环网的保护,避免了采用有源的冗余控制器和双PON口光网络单元,可靠性更高,成本更低。
    Abstract: In view of problems of high cost and low reliability of existing protection methods of mine PON network, the paper designed a new type of splitter composed of three beam splitters. The new splitter adds a beam splitter with splitting ratio of 50∶50 to traditional splitting, and uses its characteristics that insertion loss of up and down optical path is consistent to achieve protection of mine PON ring network by optical network units with single PON port. It avoids the use of redundant controllers and optical network units with dual active PON ports, and has high reliability and low cost.
