Abstract: The paper briefly reviewed development history of through-the-earth communication system, introduced research status and application effect of through-the-earth communication system of domestic and foreign, analyzed current mainstream technology of the through-the-earth communication, and prospected application and development direction of the through-the-earth communication technology in coal mine.
