Design of a Novel Electrical Control System for Boom-type Roadheader Based on Power Panel and PCC

  • The paper analyzed function requirements of electrical control system of roadheader, put forward a design scheme of a novel electrical control system for boom-type roadheader which takes Power Panel and PCC as controllers, and introduced software and hardware designs of the novel control system and its implementation method in details. The novel electrical control system takes PCC as lower computer and Power Panel as upper computer, and has functions of automatic forming of mine laneway section, constant power auto-traction and speed regulation of cutting arm, auto-detection of body position, directional excavation and full-function remote control, which realizes computer control of laneway automatic cutting and directional excavation system and lays a foundation for automatization and intellgence of boom-type roadheader. The actual running result showed that the system has perfect control effect.
