Design of temperature detection device for drum of belt conveyor

  • For difficult wiring and big measuring error existed in traditional temperature detection methods for drum of belt conveyor, a temperature detection device for drum of belt conveyor based on radio frequency communication was designed. Detection terminal collects temperature data through tire pressure sensor chip SP370 which integrates functions of temperature detection and radio frequency emission, and receiver terminal, which is composed of radio frequency receiver chip, microcontroller and CAN transceiver, receives the temperature data and sends it to CAN bus.The test results show that the device meets requirements of field application, whose measuring error is ±3.73 ℃ and single button battery can provide continuous current for the detection terminal for over 1.5 a.
