Design of remote monitoring system of mine ventilator

  • In view of difficult wiring and poor scalability of traditional monitoring system of mine ventilator, a remote monitoring system of mine ventilator was designed applying ZigBee wireless communication technology. Terminal node sensor transmits detected signal to coordinator node through ZigBee wireless communication, and then the signal was sent to PLC and the monitoring center for processing via the serial port. The simulation results show that the system achieves real-time detection of current, voltage, air speed and pressure of ventilator, it avoids a lot of wiring, and has high reliability and good real time performance.
