Based on the features of acoustic emission signal, the paper researched noise reduction methods of adaptive filters and wavelet decomposition fit acoustic emission signal with multiplicative noise. It compared simulation results of noise reduction of the two methods. The simulation results show that noise reduction method of the adaptive filters is more suitable for noise reduction for the acoustic emission with multiplicative noise.
