Abstract: In view of problems of bad flotation effect, high flotation reagent content and high cost in flotation system of Datun Coal Preparation Plant caused by manual operation, the paper proposed a reform scheme of automatic flotation control system, mainly introduced implementation of automatic reagent feeding control system and automatic flocculant feeding system. The practice shows that the reformed system reduces flotation reagent consumption per ton of coal, raises recovery rate of ash and coal flotation concentrate from flotation tailing, and greatly reduces amount of labor.
