Abstract: The paper analyzed working principle of common measuring instruments for purification and treatment system of mine water including level gauge，flowmeter and turbidimeter. It pointed out applicable fields and attentions of the instruments, and gave a project example of instrument selection, which provided a reference for improving automation level of purification and treatment system of mine water.
