Abstract: In view of problems of low efficiency and bad precision existed in labour detection mode for testing running situation of conveyor belt of steel rope core, the paper introduced design of an on-line monitoring system of conveyor belt of steel rope core. The practical application showed that the system can quickly and accurately detect running situation of the conveyor belt and effectively prevent broken belt accidents, which provides guarantee for coal mine safety production.
