Abstract: On the basis of analyzing and describing development and status of 3DGIS and sources, content, acquisition, hierarchy division and using ways of basic information of digital mine, a structure of basic information platform of digital mine was put forward which took application frame of digital mine based on 3DGIS as core content, composition and main functions of the basic information platform of digital mine based on 3DGIS were briefly introduced, and a method of the second development for professional application based on the basic information platform of digital mine was introduced with an example.
