Abstract: According to the characteristics of production process of coal preparation plant,the application of Siemens PLC in DCS system in coal preparation plant was introduced in the paper, the control strategy of master station and slave station was emphatically analyzed. The software flow, programming method of HMI and undisturbed switching system were discussed. The practical application showed that this system can reduce failure rate effectivelly and improve economic benefit prominently.
