Abstract: The paper put forward a scheme of monitoring and control system for coal mine safety established by combining a new wireless communication technology in short distance of Zigbee with existing monitoring equipments based on wire transmission so as to realize real-time monitoring and control of dynamic and all of the underground, summarized Zigbee technology and introduced the design of structure and node of Zigbee network in details, and pointed out that the monitoring and control system for coal mine safety based on Zigbee technology has characteristics of really realizing real-time monitoring of dynamic and all of the underground, low in power consumption and cost.
