Research on Maturity Evaluation and Evolution Logic of Intelligent Capability in Open-Pit Coal Mines

  • The intelligent construction of open-pit mines is at a critical turning point from demonstration projects to comprehensive implementation. In response to the problems exposed in the intelligent construction process of open-pit coal mines in recent years, such as a large number of systems, abnormal operation, reduced efficiency, data aggregation but not fusion, and weak decision-making ability, a maturity evaluation method for the intelligent capacity of open-pit coal mines is proposed and the evolution logic of open-pit coal mine intelligence is analyzed. Firstly, it is clarified that the logical starting point for the intelligent development of open-pit mines is to reduce the uncertainty of complex giant systems, in order to improve the decision-making ability and quality of various links and entities in open-pit coal mines. Based on the Capability Maturity Assessment Model (CMM) theory, a CASE evaluation model and indicator calculation method for intelligent capacity maturity of open-pit mines were proposed, which consists of four dimensions: integrity index, activity index, structural index, and efficiency index. The three main factors affecting the maturity of intelligent capacity of open-pit mines were analyzed, The main endogenous and exogenous variables that affect the maturity of intelligent capabilities were proposed. Based on the characteristics of the development of intelligent capabilities in open-pit mines, they were divided into three stages: cultivation period, formation period, and maturity period. Empirical research was conducted using 15 domestic open-pit mines as sample data. Research has shown that the maturity of intelligent capabilities in open-pit mines in China is generally low, and they are basically in the early stages of cultivation and formation. Its characteristic is that as the number of subsystems increases, it is increasingly difficult to form a healthy ecosystem between subsystems. Based on this, it is further proposed that the intelligent development of open-pit mines is an evolution mechanism driven by four types of logic: subtraction logic, ecological logic, reconstruction logic, and self-consistent logic. The basic connotation of these four types of logic is clarified, and the overall goal of the future intelligent development path of open-pit mines is to fully build the "001" mode intelligent open-pit coal mines, that is, mobile equipment and fixed positions are all unmanned (0 personnel) Full coverage of scenario ecology (0 blind spots), integration of business control (1 brain), and systematic explanation of its key technologies and core difficulties.
